winter in spring~?

*warning: super long post. thank goodness for autosaving drafts, i almost lost the WHOLE thing cos xplorer died on me! =(

happy easter sunday! =)
bet mommie and daddie are having fun in guangzhou.. (is tt where they went?)

there was a winter storm last friday~! snowed 10 inches or so i think.. and the ironic thing is that one of these days over the weekend was supposed to be the first day for spring~! hah. michigan weather. i guess it should be melting soon.. its not really -that- cold now.. around 0-ish i think=) but its supposed to snow bits and pieces over the next week or so.. how wacky.

oh yes, really wanna thank God for opening doors for me =)and also the ppl who were praying for me and supporting me and encouraging me.. and ppl trying to be there.. esp like mommie, daddie, jie, kale, hwying~!!, and jem.. just really thankful and can't wait to start on a new part of my life! =) jem is going to berkeley too.. so we'll be only an hour or so away..

it'll be nice.. distance makes the heart grow fonder.. it'll prob make us cherish each other more and take each other for granted much less. =) and we'll be able to visit each other really easily and often.. its kinda like we're living on both ends of singapore. =) say changi and junrong west??? haha.. with much nicer weather. and i'm excited about possibly visting jie in LA next time=)

i have so much stuff to clear, its totally insane =( and i'm not really starting any of the clearing yet.. partially cos i don't have time.. and partially cos it means my time here is ending.. heh this place has grown to really be my second home..

that doesn't mean i'm not excited tho.. i -am- very excited. about graduation, about seeing my family here and showing them this place that's been my cosy little cove..(which may not be very presentable in its current state, haha), excited about summer at home to see and catch up with old frens again, possibly some summer trips (? *hopeful*), the addition of a new baby to the family!!!!, maybe starting some dancing at home, then heading to grad school and enjoying my last year away.. =)

hms, all those nice little plans in my head, but now i have loads of things i have to overcome that's sitting in a pile in front of me.. mostly senior design stuff i have to tackle and clear. possibly another ballroom comp...

most of all.. i must remember that all these plans are in His hands... and be thankful that He's brought me safe thus far.. and has been so so good to me =) what better time to remember than easter? yay.

i know i've not updated this in a long while and lotsa photos are owed...

went to cancun for spring break and loved the sun and sea, had michigan comp before that, came back early on spring break for arnold comp, did a showcase for dancefusion on friday, just did another one today for ballroom club semester party, and doing one next saturday for some other student organization, but the one i'm realli excited about is the dance mix~! beams. just found out we're gonna do it today, and JUST found out its gonna be at the power center~! with real stage and real lighting and real sounds and real audiences and everything~! tt's why i'm so excited, cos its like dance nite in jc, and i haven't had a real chance to really perform for a concert in a real theatre like that..
hence my excitement and my sudden eagerness to blog it down~! =)
yay.

oh yes. power center in umich is like esplanade in singapore.. haha, at least to me it is=)

yay dancing making me so so so happy~
thank God for the chances for me to dance, and most of all the gift of loving dance~ =)

and i can't believe we have only 5 weekends left in ann arbor. time is flying too fast. its shooting by like a rocket.

hoping for a reply soon.. guess i should just trust that all will be good and i'll be led where i'm supposed to go...=)
just thankful for people around me and my family, my mommie and jiejie and daddie for the long dist encouragement, jem for being here and trying his best to make it to the showcase tonite altho a little too late, its the effort that counts.., and happy that i can dance~!!! =)

a post a month~

i realized i've been keeping up with just a post a month.. and i decided i better do the january one before january is over and i can't turn back time to enter a january post...

hawaii was wonderful.. new york was interesting.. school started.. ballroom is extraodinarily fun now, depsite the lack of practices.. chicago was COOLLLLD but the food was good. =) design review presentation was over today, report is due tomorrow..

the semester has just begun, but it has already been so eventful.. some happy stuff, some not so happy stuff..

well.. sha's flying off to china on saturday. just finished writin her farewell note, and thus am pensive=( i'm gonna have one less realli great person to confide in here. i'll miss her. at least we'll haf one final shopping trip tmr tog. i'm looking forward to it.. i realli hope she'll come to singapore someday so that this wun be e last time i see her in my life~

but all my project are turned in~! its been totally utterly crazy u have no idea.=(
almost a straight week of meetings that last about 12 hours and can go until 2/3 am in the engineering library.. gosh i've never been so stretched before.. and i'm amazed i'm still in tact and alive.. its God's miracle really.. Hannah was right, its only when u leap in faith, that ur faith will grow! andddd He will never give us anything we can't handle.. He knows us inside out~!

Nevertheless, there's still more to come.. 3 more finals.. then its off to hawaii to meet mommie and daddie and jie and kale and MEREDITH~!!! *beams* and the -new- upcoming addition to the family. peanut#2=) yay~

but dancing makes me oh-so-happy.. dancing is such a blessing in my life...

senior year begins~

back in ann arbor and one week into senior year~!
*bites lips*
time passes really fast...
hms.. this term is settling in, stil a few details here and there to settle..
lots of ballroom thi first week~! five new blisters and aching muscles but i'm WHIPPING myself back into shape, w the help of my ballroom frens. I actually missed them. =P

i miss meredith a million million tons!!! =(((
been watching the few videos and looking at the many pics i haf of her, but its not the same... saw baby clothes at target yest and thot of her, saw chunyi's video of his niece and thot of her... *bleah* jie u are so so so so blessed to haf such an adorable lovely cute daughter! and i reaslised in the studio shoot of both of you that both ur eyes are the SAME when u laugh!!!! aw so sweet. *melts*

came back from a wonderful holiday in krabi last saturday.. =) was beautiful.. caught up with old frens and made nice new frens~! =)

meredith is the cutest thing on the earth!!! *gushes*
she can say a-da-a-da and babble and she can walk on her own and she sways to music and likes the piano and likes to dance and she can remove the battery cover of the remote control (which isn't tt good, but she's smart enough to do that! with her little index finger =P ) and we celebrated her first bday here last last saturday.. =) her actual first bday.. and she had duckie bday cake that cost a bomb. and i made her a ferris wheel tt is falling apart but i'll haf to fix *sad* no probs i promise a lifetime guarantee anyways. haha

and i just cut my fringe, and i've been told i look fifteen *scrunch face*

two more weeks till i leave for aa..

more than i could ask for~

hello~!
haven't ben blogging for a long while since i've been interning and have no energy to type anything by the time i get back, and we took off on a family holiday to perth just e week before last for a week or so...

but i just wanted to say a big thank you to all who made my 21st on of the most memorable days of my life~! =) *beams*
it was more than i could ask for, far more beautiful than i ever planned for or imagined.. it was meant to be something simple, but turned out all the more beautiful somehow. =) the little blessings that fell into place... *thankful*

the decorations were lovely, thanx to anna and hwying for coming over and folding roses and sitcking then to lights, and al and jem for coming over the nite before to help put them up and settle the lighting effects and visualise the deco in the function room...

most of all to daddie and mommie for putting the whole thing together, for suggesting the party when i didnt really think bout it, booking the room moving tables, getting e cake and food, the lovely wine from daddie and the wine glasses (amazingly everyobe could have their own glasses~! didn't noe we had that many wine glasses.. =P)

the food and cake were delicious, the cake's frosting and wording turned out so simple and sweet and it literally mealted in my mouth..
and the surprise mommie and jie planned to have kenneth over to singa nd play guitar! thank u soo soo much it topped the whole thing of so nicely and it was so beautiful to listen to! =)

i guess there;s much more to say and i'm not v good wih putting everything into words.. just so thankul to everyone, those who came down, those who messaged me, the wonderful presents and cards and notes..

it was so wonderful to see all of u..
too bad i lost a lot of my old frens' numbers and didn't manage to invite everyone i wanted to... but they're def not forgotten..
every single one has been a part of my life and all these people haf given me the experiences and memories that make me who i am, all these past 21 years~

interning~

bleah i wrote a long post about starting my internship and for no reason my explorer screen shut itself down without saving my draft. *sighs*

too lazy to write the whole thing again..

basically.. i started interning 3 days ago.. learning lots lots about aircrafts..and and seeing them right downstairs.=P

and i met up with hwying anna and yl today~
thanx dearies~! and thanx hwying ur always the bestest fren i noe will always understnad me and see things in e same light and stayed tuned in at the same freq as me...=) after all these 8 yrs...

shall slp soon.. haf to wake up early again.. i need more candy at work. *laffs*
