2nd day at home~

went around w mommie today~ =)

met jie for lunch and had nice chicken rice.. the exact same meal i had for christmas lunch when i came back in dec.. =P

walk walked for a bit around raffles city.. then we drove to taka for a bit too.. and i drove home~! =) first time driving back here in singapore =) it feels different from US.. but the same old familiar feeling =P

mommie and daddie are going dancing tmr after dinner.. maybe i shd go dancing too.. either that or i shall just meet up with anyone who's free~ =)

celene's birthday~!

she treated us to a round of strawberry magaritas =)

and i saw huilin too.. with lawrence~! they went over to huilin's house for e nite to watch soccer and stay over.. shall meet her soon.

thunderstorming and tornado warning

hms... there's a flash flood warning and a tornado watch thingey on the corner of the tv screen~ its been rainig the whole day~

kinda like this weather.. i like the rain and everything =) but not when the thunder gets loud and the lightning gets scary... *hms*

had long john's for lunch again today *beams*
and then jem went w me to briarwood.. wanted to get mommie's bedspread thingey.. but no size.. =( got a couple of other stuff.. dropped by claire's and abercrombie and aeropostale.. oh we went into hollister and chatted with marcy~! this realli chio and relali nice girl in my ballet class.. she says we can all hang out in fall when i get back.. we can go get ice cream.. =P *yay* she's such a nice girl.. and her boyfren (i think) is a realli nice guy too.. =P jem was talking to him.. and he's quite cute too.. =) *happy* i like meeting nice new ppl.. especially americans.. cos i din get to meet many realli nice frenly american frens yet.. so i'm realli excited. haha =P

bought tealights for the new candleholder i bought.. realli pretty candle holder tt holds 5 tealights.., and onli cost 9.99.. bought it yest when ser and i went to great lakes crossing..a nd shopped nonstop for 6 hours.. and drove all e way back to aa to eat chili's~! thanx ser for coming w me.. if u weren't there i'd be so lonely and lost.. =P haha

okies.. photos haf yet to be transferred since my hard disk is still w jr and mut. =P the orientation veido is coming good they're doing a great job.. and the guys did a realli realli hilarious and funny imitation of the world cup advertisement.. haha~

i think its you-tube worthy and if it does get there i think they'll be world famous.. like those backstreet boys crazy guys and all .. *laffs*

got an A- for econs.. not fantastic but still remaining thankful~

jem helped me rent a car for a week on friday~ =) and we got a chrysler PT cruiser =P and guess where my first stop is??

anyways the weekend has been pretty good i guess.. i'm holidaayyying in ann arbor for ten days before i go back home~

we went to the beach at south haven yesterday~! rite next to lake michigan~! it was beautifully breathtaking and so so nice~ the sand was so soft and fine and the waters were realli realli cold but realli nice to swim in.. with waves and all just like the sea but no salty taste~! haha and u can see the beautiful horizon.. just the horizon and nothing else *blissful* things like that the make u feel alive again and just stand in awe at the amazing vastness and beauty of wat God made~! =) *beams*

went to wal-mart today and saw a singaporean family~! haha nice to hear Singaporean accent from someone we dunno.. haha.. couldnt find jie's baby cot valences there so went to baby's r us instead.. and found wat she wanted.. e size seems wrong.. but i hope its ok anyways cos that's all they haf and all the cribs they haf in e store use tt size.. *bites lip*

it was pouring today.. nice breezy cooling weather..

oh and we cooked again today after a reali long time cos val and her mom went to potbelly's.. jem and i rush-cooked diner under an hour cos jer had to work.. but must say dinner came out pretty nicely or at least satisfactorily since we haven't cooked in such a long time =)

econs finals are tmr~! and today has been a pretty productive studying day.. *beams*

one more practice paper to go and i shd be all set (at least i would noe that i studied and did my work =P)

hms.. past few days haf been rather xian-ish.. thinking of the studying and e paper i have to write and the other random stuff on my mind so i din update anithing *sheepish*

i actualli haf a lot of pictures the last week.. we went to cedar point on sunday too =) rented a car the nite before and han drove us all the way there and back.. safely. =) good job~ =P

sat dragster and am realli pleased that i can officially say my tolerance level of coasters and thrill rides haf gone up~! dragster is like the tallest fastest coaster..and u plunge at 2 g's force... which i felt was better and less scary than just dropping anyways.. =P

oh yes.. and e nite before my bday jemjem brought me out for a walk so tt everyone else was waiting at home to surpirse me w a bday cake =) so nice of them.. after my classes serene came to pick me up and we went bowling with val's mommie and chris and val.. $1 a game... but i suck at bowling.. haha..

the sweetest surprise came when i got home and i found a package all e way from singapore~!!! home sweet home.. and all my dearest frens put stuff they had for me in.. notes, pressies, chiara even burned a cd with her playing e guitar!! how incredibly sweet.. =)

at nite we went to olive garden for a realli realli nice dinner.. the food is realli nice but a little ex.. and e atmosphere is realli nice too. =P

hehe actualli i haf pictures of all of this.. even the stuff in e package.. but i haven't uploaded yet.. even after a week *sheepish* (sorrie i'm sucha lazy bum) and it doesn't help tt my laptop is quite nuts nowadays it hardly lets me get online.. using val's laptop now.. thanx val~! she's now at the gym and i'm now waiting for her to g et back so we can eat the claypot rice her mom is currently cooking in e rice cooker =P

i'll be home in less than two weeks time~ all the dearies in singapore let's meet up k?? *jump jump*

planning for orientation~!

chin and i have been trying to settle plans for the informal session of orientation in singapore~!! haha it sounds like its gonna be alot of fun and all!!!

haha unfortunately we're currently stuck at whether we shd hold it in sentosa cos it sounds more happening or whether we shd go pasir ris cos the chalet and everything is so much cheaper and bigger there.. *ponders*

*beams* this orientation thingey's gonna be so exciting~!! *excited*

oh yes.. correction: the prices for the airfares were in hundreds not thousands.. haha as jem pointed out.. =P *sheepish*

just talked to mommie and daddie on the phone~ they're packing to go home tmr.. they said they bought two really pretty (and also v ex) figurines from spain. and one's a ballerina~! *smiles* i think its one of the pretty picture perfect porcelain ballerinas we;ve always walked past and admired and never dared to own...

also just finished peeling potatoes for dinner tonite.. haf mastered peeling potatoes without a peeler =P

airfares to singapore now are also crazy expensive.. they're about 17000 US and its not even the one to tokyo narita directly... which means if i change my flight it'd be 175 USD plus 400 ++ USD for fare diff since i bought mine at just over 12 thousand.. tt's insane =( not paying -tt- much for an extended lonely flight home~

shall just decide wat to do w those 10 days.. dun seem like any plans are forming just yet =l

how saddening.. shall indulge myself in trashy novel until i decide to start on e other piece of econ homework~
